About us
About Parkhill Services
We’re a residential construction contractor working in Virginia and Florida. We work for homeowners on the bigger jobs: remodels, additions, roofs, siding, windows, decks and serious repairs.
Why we work this way
Built around the things that go wrong
Most bad experiences with contractors come down to a few things: a price nobody can explain, questions that go unanswered, a mess left behind, and work that stalls halfway.
So we run every job the same way. It starts with a visit and a written estimate. One person is your contact from start to finish. The house is protected and the site cleaned every day. And the job isn’t finished until we’ve walked through it with you.
Our standards
What you can expect from us
These are working habits, not slogans. Ask us about any of them.
A written estimate and scope
You see what’s included, what isn’t, and what each part costs before you agree to anything.
One point of contact
One person runs your job from the first visit to the final walkthrough, and answers your questions.
Your home protected, the site cleaned daily
Floors and furniture covered, dust kept to the work area, and everything tidied at the end of each day.
Permits handled where the work needs them
We apply for the permit and schedule the inspections, so you don’t have to deal with the paperwork.
A walkthrough when we’re done
We go over the finished job with you, list anything that needs attention, and finish it.
Straight answers
If a job isn’t worth doing, or isn’t right for us, we’ll say so. If something changes, you hear it from us first.
Scope
What we take on, and what we don’t

- Siding, trim, windows and exterior doors
- Decks, porches, stairs and railings
- Rot, storm and leak damage repairs
We don’t take on
- Small handyman jobs on their own
- New homes built from the ground up
- Commercial buildings
- Stand-alone electrical, plumbing or HVAC jobs
- Mold remediation, asbestos or lead abatement
Working with others
Architects, designers and licensed trades
If you have an architect or designer, we build from their drawings, and review them for cost and buildability while they can still change.
Some work needs a licensed electrician, plumber or HVAC technician. Your estimate says which parts of the job need them, and that work is scheduled as part of the job.
If a project needs an engineer’s design, such as a new beam or opening, we’ll tell you early so it doesn’t hold up the start.

Describe the job and we’ll arrange a visit to see it. You’ll get a written estimate before anything is agreed.
